Assistant Manager, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team Lead
Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare has an immediate opening for an Assistant Manager to work in a dynamic, community-based program serving individuals living with serious mental illness. This program includes an Assertive Community Treatment program that is evidence based and follows a fidelity model. This position will directly supervise and oversee the services by all staff working with the Community Support Services and ACT populations. The Assistant Manager/ACT lead will be responsible for a limited caseload and will perform a variety of services of a QMHP.
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in the Behavioral Sciences from an accredited university meeting the requirement for Oregon QMHP
• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain license in Oregon or Washington
• Background check clearance
• Ability to meet insurance requirements, must submit current motor vehicle record if licensed outside of the state of Oregon
Preferred:
• At least 3 years of outpatient clinical experience working with the mentally ill and working knowledge of ACT programming
• Bilingual

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• ACT program development and meet ACT fidelity benchmarks
• Supervision, training of assigned staff
• Assessments/evaluations
• Treatment planning
• Case management
• Group/family/individual therapy/skills training
• Dual Diagnosis work
• Consultation/education
• Information/referral
• Community outreach
• Psych Rehab Crisis Team member
• Clinical record keeping/report writing
• Participate in agency meetings
• Liaison with other human service organizations
• Coverage, as needed, for other team members
1. Client transport as needed

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises the Mental Health Counselor I/II in department and is supervised by the Clinical Director of Residential Treatment & Specialty Services. All staff and programs are responsible to the Executive Director.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work/related field from an accredited college. Prefer licensure. Minimum of three years of related experience. CADC within one year of employment.

ACT Mental Health Counselor II position open at Columbia Community Mental Health.

OCEACT would like to announce to the ACT community that Columbia Community Mental Health is currently seeking a full time MHC II to join their ACT Team, part of their Psychiatric Rehabilitation Outpatient Department. A description of the position is below.

This position provides therapeutic services to adults diagnosed with serious mental health issues and serves as part of the Assertive Community Treatment Team.

Other duties include but are not limited to:
1. Assessments/Evaluations
2. Dual diagnosis treatment
3. Case management
4. After-hours Crisis Team as needed
5. ACT On-Call Rotation

Minimum required qualifications:
1. Master Degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology or other related field
2. Minimum three years’ work related experience
3. CADC within 1 year or as developed per supervisor

Preferred qualifications:
1. Licensure
2. Previous Assertive Community Treatment experience

Candidate must be able to pass drug screening and criminal background check. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license, proof of current auto insurance and ability to be agency insured (DMV check required). Successful candidate must be committed to working with diverse community populations.

CCMH is an NHSC (National Health Service Corps) approved site.
This position may qualify for the Loan Forgiveness Program.
