The Act Program provides direct treatment and rehabilitation services to persons with severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance abuse concerns. You will lead, supervise, and evaluate the multidisciplinary team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Directs day to day clinical operations specific to the ACT team.
  • Assuring adequate staff coverage and ongoing clinical supervision
  • Leading daily organizational meetings
  • Maintain appropriate supervision documentation for team clerical services.
  • Clinical records oversight and quality improvement/assurance activities
  • Coordinating the assessment and treatment planning process
  • Coordinate training and technical assistance for the team
  • Educating community resources regarding the ACT Team and maintain positive working relationships with key community organizations
  • Establishes and maintains contact with the Oregon Center for Excellence, Assertive Community Treatment (OCEACT) for ongoing consultation related to establishing program fidelity.
  • Organizing and reporting data to CPCCO and OCEACT


Required Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, nursing, or social work. License preferred, with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Knowledge of the ACT model and a willingness to promote and respect the philosophy of that model
  • Strong clinical skills in treating individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
  • Experience with Clinical supervision within a community mental health setting

  • Technical Capacity

Preferred Competencies

  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Experience using Electronic Health Records system.
  • Experience in a management/supervisory capacity preferred

Working Conditions

Ability to lift 10 pounds; ability to safely operate a motor vehicle. This position requires a current valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds, and have the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.

Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. The days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. as well as on-call shifts on a rotating basis. This position may require longer working hours if necessary.

If you work on these holidays, you are compensated accordingly. Vacation starts out at 9 hours a month and increases with your time here. We also offer a generous retirement program. Our 403(b) is non-contributory, we put in 9% of your salary (whether you contribute or not) and you are vested after 6 months. We also have a corporate membership for our local YMCA at a significantly reduced rate.
